Working Principle:
Tower is installed within Ionization tube technology, it releases a large number of negative ions groups to the air by special high-pressure discharge and thus play a bactericidal purification, removal of formaldehyde, air disinfection, corrosion preservation, play the role of odor removal.
Installation:
1. Connect the power adapter to the wall socket.
2. Connect the mini contact to the tower.
3. Turn the power on (the fan starts).
4. Let the unit run for a couple of hours, then adjust the ionization effect to desired level.
Maintenance:
To maintain optimal functionality, the tube should be cleaned every sixth months and replaced after about 9000 hours of use.
Changing Tubes:
1. Cut the power by disconnecting the battery eliminator.
2. Remove the top cover.
3. Carefully remove the clip that keeps the ionization tube in place.
4. Unscrew the electron tube from the base plate.
5. Carefully pull the metal sock off, wipe the glass with a wet cloth.
Then wipe the tubes dry with a dry cloth. The tube should be replaced after 9000 hours of use.
6. Put the clip back. Put the top cover back on.
7. Insert the plug and check that it's working properly a faint buzzing sound should be heard and a faint ion smell should come from the unit.
